Discover Poland Program
"Discover Poland" is a program of the Ministry of Education and Science, under which it is possible to obtain funding for a school trip amounting to 80% of the costs, with 20% coming from own contribution.
The amount of funding can reach:
• one-day trips - up to PLN 5,000
• two-day trips - up to PLN 10,000
• three-day trips - up to PLN 15,000
The funds from the grant can be used to finance:
• transportation costs,
• entrance tickets,
• guide services,
• accommodation,
• meals,
• insurance.

Discover Poland program requirements
The trip can be organized for three age groups: grades 1-3 of primary schools, grades 4-8 of primary schools, and also secondary schools. The number of trip participants is a minimum of 10 students, with no specified maximum. Several classes from the same age group can be combined. The total cost of accommodation and meals per trip participant cannot exceed 150 PLN per day. Other costs, such as transportation, entrance tickets, guide services, and participant insurance, are not included in this limit.

Discover Poland educational points
The educational points indicated by the Ministry corresponding to the length of the trip must be completed as part of the tour:
• one-day – at least 2 points,
• two-day – 4 points,
• three-day – 6 points.
Of course, nothing prevents visiting additional places that are not on the list.

Applications for funding are submitted through the IT system, via the SIO Employee Zone (available to users of the Education Information System who have active authorizations for the SIO application). The order of processing applications is determined by the date of receipt of a correctly completed application. The trip can be carried out after signing an agreement between the school governing body and the Ministry of Education and Science.
